Shots Fired In Residential Area; Police Arrest Suspect: Report

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Police said they arrested a man Thursday evening on charges of firing his gun in an Annapolis residential neighborhood. Officers heard word of the incident around 7:57 p.m., an incident report noted. The write-up added that police headed to the 1400 block of Tyler Avenue in search of the suspect, but he already left the area. Officers informed that they found the accused man, Wendell Turner, driving soon after. The Annapolis Police Department found a loaded handgun under his seat, the press release indicated. Officers reported that they charged Turner accordingly and submitted the gun as evidence. Police did not list any injuries. Like what you're reading?
