Lions take top spot at Speech Tournament, outscore 22 schools

An impressive group of 20 members of the Lyons Township High School Speech Team advanced to next-in and finals at a recent tournament at Reavis High School. As a team, LT finished in 1st place out of 22 schools. The students submitted a recording of their performances which were judged and scored in three separate preliminary rounds. Those scores then determined if a student made it into the finals. The virtual finals were conducted live.
