DARIEN, IL — The Darien Police Department released its latest blotter Thursday. Here is information from the reports: Damage L & M Car Wash, 7100 block of Cass Avenue, was damaged Jan. 19. A video shows a man in an SUV opening a car door while the wash was still in process, causing damage to the T-bar. The driver then took off. The damage is estimated at $700. Warrant Joseph Ramsey, 29, of Darien, was arrested about 8:30 p.m. Jan. 20 on a Darien misdemeanor warrant. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail. Police came into contact with Ramsey after being called to a domestic disturbance in the 900 block of 79th Street. DUI Juan Garcia, 29, of Chicago, was arrested about 2:30 a.m. Sunday in the 8200 block of Cass Avenue on charges of DUI, operating an uninsured vehicle and speeding. He was released and given a date to appear in court. Retail theft Sharita Hallom, 26, of Chicago, was arrested at 5:30 p.m. Sunday at Walmart, 2189 75th St., on a charge of retail theft. She was seen on camera at the self-checkout lane not scanning clothing items totaling about $60. She was released and given a date to appear in court. Driving violations Demisha Kennedy, 25, of Hazel Crest, was cited about 12:30 a.m. Jan. 19 in the 7100 block of Cass Avenue on charges of uninsured motor vehicle, unlawful possession of marijuana by a driver and improper lighting. She was released and given a court date. Cecilia Guerrero-DeAvila, 48, of Woodridge, was cited about 6:30 a.m. Jan. 21 in the 1100 block of 75th Street on charges of driving with a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and improper display of a registration plate. She was released and given a date to appear in court. Sandy Cervantes, 18, of Darien, was cited about 11 p.m. Friday at 75th Street and Fairview on charges of driving with a suspended license and disobeying a traffic control device. She was released and given a date to appear in court. Gina Robinson, 23, of Chicago, was cited about 2 a.m. Saturday at Lemont Road and 83rd Street on charges of no valid driver's license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and speeding. She was released and given a date to appear in court. Paris Jackson, 29, of Woodridge, was cited about 3 a.m. Saturday in the 8900 block of Lemont Road on charges of no valid driver's license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and speeding. She was released and given a date to appear in court. Curtis Brown III, 27, of Chicago, was cited about 7:30 p.m. Sunday in the 800 block of 67th Street on charges of possession of marijuana by a driver and speeding. He was released and given a date to appear in court. Rael Flores, 21, of Bolingbrook, was cited about 8 p.m. Sunday near Cass Avenue and Interstate 55 on charges of no valid driver's license and speeding. He was going 60 mph in a 40 mph zone.
