Satchel Paige & Negro League Baseball Saturday, February 13 – Saturday, February 20 Children, families, ages 3-12 Join Tommy Terrific all week long for a pre-recorded historical magic show about Satchel Paige and Negro League baseball. Space: the Cosmos for Kids Dance Party Tuesday, February 16 at 11:00 a.m. Children, families, all ages welcome Turtle Dance Music returns for a virtual out-of-this-world dance party and show! Exploring Ancient Egypt Part 1: The Great Pyramids and the Giza Plateau – Tuesday, February 16 at 3:30 p.m. Part 2: What's Up, King Tut? – Wednesday, February 17 at 3:30 p.m. Part 3: Mummies 101 – Tuesday, February 16 at 3:30 p.m. Grades 1-6, Teens Museums with Marisa will take you back in time to Ancient Egypt for a fun and fact-filled series of archaeological explorations! The Library Boogie Puppet Show Wednesday, February 17 at 11:00 a.m. Children, families, ages 3-8 Tom Knight's Library Boogie puppet show celebrates reading with original hand-made puppets, catchy songs, and lots of audience participation. Storybook Dancing with Steffi Nossen School of Dance Thursday, February 18 at 11:00 a.m. Children, families, ages 2-6 A creative, movement-filled program for ages 2-6 to hear stories and then dance them to life! Sit Down & Write Thursday, February 18 at 4:00 p.m. Grades 4-8 Youth in grades 4-8 are invited to the Library's newest young writers program, Sit Down & Write, a change to meet other writers, spend some time writing and sharing, and take part in some creative writing activities. Virtual Youth Chess Club Thursday, February 18 at 4:00 p.m. Children, Teens, Families Youth are welcome to play chess online with each other in this fun, regular series.
