BESSEMER, AL — A 19-year-old man is dead after a shooting Wednesday night in Bessemer. A WBRC report said Mikel Ja'Darius Pickens of Bessemer was taken to UAB Hospital after the shooting where he was pronounced dead Thursday morning.
