Providing Linguistic Access to Foster Deaf Students' Proficiency in ASL & English Providing Linguistic Access to Foster Deaf Students' Proficiency in ASL & English with Jennifer Cranston With over two decades of experience working in the field of Deaf Education, Jennifer has held various roles, such as teacher of the deaf, ASL interpreter, cued language transliterator (CLT), teacher mentor, interpreter mentor, CLT mentor, ASL interpreter & CLT supervisor, and Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program Specialist. In this workshop, Jennifer Cranston will discuss research about deaf students' literacy, personal research she conducted regarding providing deaf and hard of hearing students access to academic content in mainstream classrooms, approaches to promote literacy with deaf and hard of hearing individuals, programs using innovative methods, benefits of these methods, and available resources. Prices are   :                            Early bird $60 Regular $65 Early Bird - before February 5 , 2021. After this the price increases by $5 plus fees per ticket.
