This workshop is an introduction to weapon safety. Upon completion of the workshop, you will be able to obtain a WI Concealed Carry Permit Have you ever wanted to learn about weapon safety? Have you ever thought about carrying a weapon to protect yourself or loved ones? This workshop is for you. Liberty Advanced Security is offering a 4 hour course on Introduction to Firearm Safety and Concealed Carry. Date: Saturday, December 12, 2020. 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Cost: $59.00 Our workshop is being instructed by a USCCA Concealed Carry and Home Defense Instructor and a Certified NRA Range Officer, Pistol Instructor, and Personal Protection in the Home Instructor. Both instructors are also State of Wisconsin Certified Firearms Instructors. This variety of talent and experience makes our classes very informative. Our workshop will cover the following topics: • Basic Firearm Handling • Loading and Unloading of your Firearm • Safe Storage in the Home • Wisconsin Concealed Carry Laws • Universal Firearm Safety Rules • Legal Implications of Carrying a Concealed Weapon • Safe Carry Considerations • Self Defense and the Defense of Other • Deadly Force Decision Making • Other Weapon Options At the completion of the workshop, each student will receive a Certificate that can be used for the application of Wisconsin Concealed Carry Permit. For those students that want to stay about 15 minutes longer, we will show the students how to clean and maintain their firearm. Notes: If a student would like to bring their firearm to class, we ask that you bring it in a case and unloaded. No live ammunition will be allowed in class. When you register for the workshop, please use your full name as it is listed on your Wisconsin state ID. There are no refunds for cancellations. We encourage everyone to bring their own masks. However, if you forget, we will provide one to you. We will be practicing safe social distancing.
