SARASOTA, FL — The 600 block of Siesta Drive was shut down in both directions Thursday around 11 a.m. because of a gas leak, Sarasota police tweeted. Police are assisting Sarasota County Emergency Services by rerouting drivers onto Norsota Way while the gas leak is investigated. Drivers should expect traffic delays in the area, police said.
