The bike had been locked to a bike rack in the front of his building for about a week. He discovered the bike gone on 1/24. 01/26/202109:04 INCIDENT 21000564 UNEMPLOYMENT COMP, FALSE IDENTITY FOR C151A S47 BROADWAY A Cambridge employee was the victim of the unemployment scam. 01/26/202110:12 INCIDENT 21000565 SHOPLIFTING BY ASPORTATION C266 S30A MT AUBURN ST A loss prevention officer from a Cambridge-based business called CPD Teleserve to report a passed shoplifting occurred on Monday. Several hundred dollars' worth of liquor was taken. 01/26/202110:30 INCIDENT 21000566 IDENTITY FRAUD CHESTNUT ST A Cambridge resident called CPD Teleserve to report that she was a victim of the unemployment scam. An unknown person(s) used her personal information to fraudulently apply for unemployment benefits from the state. 01/26/202112:32 INCIDENT 21000568 LARCENY UNDER $1200 C266 S30(1) WHITNEY AVE A Cambridge resident called CPD Teleserve to report a package theft. A family member sent her a package, which was taken less than one hour after it was delivered. 01/26/202113:19 INCIDENT 21000569 B&E NIGHTTIME FOR FELONY C266 S16 RICHDALE AVE A Richdale Avenue resident reported a past breaking and entering to their residence. 01/26/202113:39 INCIDENT 21000570 LARCENY OVER $1200 C266 S30 MAIN ST An Everett resident called CPD Teleserve to report a theft that occurred in Cambridge back in December. The initial theft led directly to a much larger theft that occurred on the same date. 01/26/202113:59 ARREST 21000571 WARRANT ARREST REPORT CAMBRIDGE ST Officers responded to a local hospital to take James Blake, 28, 33 Pine Island Road in Mattapoisett, for a warrant out of Cambridge District Court for the charges of Strangulation, Assault to Maim, and Threats to Commit Crime. As a result of this call, officers learned that the operator, a resident of Brighton will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court for Operating without a License.
