Press release from the Great Neck Park District: January 21 2021 Some schools have a Holiday Break this week, but our Skate School programs are open to everyone, residents and non-residents alike. So don't just sit there...LET'S ICE SKATE! We are offering Skate School programs from 10 to 11 a.m. through Friday, January 29. For this program, there is a 5:1 student/teacher ratio; we're registering up to 25 kids max per time slot. We are also offering Private Lessons between 11 a.m. and 12 noon on Tuesday, 1/26, Wednesday, 1/27 and Thursday, 1/28. Learn something new, practice your skills or just have a great time with us! The morning public sessions, up until 12 noon, on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (1/26-28) are cancelled. Afternoon public sessions remain as scheduled. All COVID-19 safety protocols are in place.
