Press release from the Minneapolis Police Department: January 26, 2021 January 25, 2021 (MINNEAPOLIS) – On Friday, January 22, 2021 at 9:49 AM, Minneapolis police responded to a report of a person down in a secluded space on the 2200 block of N. 6th St. Officers arrived and found a woman obviously deceased. There is nothing suspicious about the scene. It is with heavy heart that we report that the woman in this call has been identified by the Medical Examiner's Office as our missing person, Alpha Lyons. We want to thank everyone for the part they played in getting the message out about Alpha. We appreciate the time and effort people put into looking for her.
