We will be making butcher blocked top tables with welded steel bases! We will be making butcher blocked top tables with welded steel bases. In this class you will learn to run many of the workshop tools in order to create your wooden top as well as learn to weld and fabricate to create the steel base. This is a 4 day class.   Day 1 (03/02/21): Cut, joint, plane, and glue lumber for butcher block top. Day 2 (03/09/21): Final shaping of top. Sanding and applying finish.  Day 3 (03/16/21): Learn to weld. Practice welding and cut stanchions to be used in table base frame.  Day 4 (03/23/21): Finish welding table base. Grind and attach top to base.
