Cobb Drive-Thru Food Pantry Moves To Cobb Civic Center Wednesday

COBB COUNTY, GA — The drive-thru food pantry slated for this Wednesday, Jan. 27 in Cobb County will be held at Cobb Civic Center, rather than its original location at Stratton Library, county officials said. Cobb Public Library and Cobb Parks officials are organizing the event, which will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. or while supplies last. Each family will receive one package of up to 20 pounds full of produce and shelf-stable items on a first come, first served basis. Food pantries were offered in the county since last summer at Stratton Library, supported by the Atlanta Community Food Bank, officials said. Cobb Civic Center is located at 548 South Marietta Parkway SE in Marietta.
