Still searching for musicians to join a new Little Feat tribute band. COVID-19 vaccines are coming soon! Until we’ve all been injected, getting in a rehearsal studio with a bunch of y'all is not in the cards, but this is a great time to find musicians, discuss the project and make plans. We can each be practicing songs at home in preparation for our eventual first combination rehearsal/mass audition. This would cover all eras of Little Feat, not just the Lowell George days. I’m Scott, in my 60s and new to the Central Coast. I spent most of my life in the Bay Area. I've been playing music since my middle school days. I mostly play guitar (lead, rhythm and slide) and some tenor saxophone. I can sing, mostly backing vocals and occasionally lead. I have PA and recording equipment. Others joining in this effort include a keyboard player, percussionist and another guitarist/sax player. We still need: Drummer who is not afraid of syncopation Bass player Female vocalist Horns - trumpet, sax, trombone - all up for discussion, could possibly be added later once the base band is rolling The more of us that can sing, the better. Three and four part harmonies are a Feat thing. A Little Feat tribute band is not a small group! Finding a large rehearsal space will be an early task.
