I have a well established Blues band in Philly, and will be moving to Western MA this summer. I'm hoping to connect with some folks to start/join a band when I get there sometime in June or July. Our strong original stuff got us into the Philly Folk Festival last year. We're playing all the good joints and festivals around Philly and Jersey. The band is The Blue Plate Specials. Our 2 albums are on most streaming services, named Servin' it Up and Biscuits and Gravy, if you want to give a listen. I'm also a 1st call fill-in for several Philly Blues bands. I'm just as happy being a sideman and backing up a strong front, or fronting the band. I'm definitely one of those "guitar player who can sing" types...I don't consider myself a SINGER, but I'm a strong front presence.
