WILMINGTON, MA — A Wilmington man was evacuated by helicopter Monday morning with a serious injury. The man was transported by the Wilmington Fire Department and then Boston MedFlight to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. The incident is under investigation by Wilmington police and the district attorney's office, but it is not a criminal investigation, Deputy Chief Brian Pupa of Wilmington police said.
