FOXBOROUGH, MA — A Stoughton man wanted on gun charges was arrested Tuesday after Massachusetts State Police said they found him outside a Foxborough apartment complex with a loaded gun and crack cocaine.
Dwayne Rogers-Flonory, 29, was faced charges from four warrants, as well as new charges, including carrying a loaded firearm, unlawful carrying of a firearm (second offense), being a felon in possession of a firearm, possession of a class B drug with intent to distribute, committing a firearm violation while having two prior convictions for violent/drug crimes and resisting arrest.
State Police said they started searching for Rogers-Flonory after learning he was wanted on several assault and gun charges in Boston. On Tuesday morning, State Police said they received information that Rogers-Flonory was likely at Lodge at Foxborough apartments on Foxborough Boulevard.
State and local police began staking out the area outside the apartment complex and saw a vehicle associated with Rogers-Flonory in the area. Around 8:20 a.m., police said Rogers-Flonory headed towards the car, and when officers approached, he ran away and scaled a 6-foot fence.
Police said Rogers-Flonory tried scaling a second fence but was apprehended before he could get any further. State Police said they seized a handgun with a round in the chamber and eight rounds in the magazine and about 13 grams of crack cocaine.
Rogers-Flonory was out on bail set from a prior firearms arrest. State Police said he was scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday in Wrentham District Court.
