Celebrating The Life Of Emmy Award Winning Documentary Winner Jamal Gaines Come join us Saturday February 27th 2021 as we celebrate the life of Jamal 'Mally' Gaines. The Lion Hearted Legend is a non profit organization that was founded after the senseless murder of Jamal "Mally" Gaines at his sneaker boutique. Mally was a beacon of light for the community with his infectious personality and his devotion to helping others succeed. He was a self-made entrepreneur that fought hard to live his passion. Jamal had a dream at an early age that drove him to set goals. These goals and his drive led him to live life to the fullest. These goals challenged him to try again even after challenges and failures. He was 21 years old and committed to the success of his sneaker boutique. The store was a success for 3 years and attracted various sneaker-heads from the local enthusiast to the rich and famous. Jamal's work ethic and passion was admirable. You couldn't be with him for very long without being inspired. He got that drive from his mother, Tina Wilson and was in good company with his sister, Divinity who was just as driven in her pursuits. Failure and the lack of success was not an option. Mally left behind an incredible legacy of a man who dared to dream big and worked hard to make the impossible possible. This event will not only highlight his life but the life of others that he inspired. The tragedy of his life sparked the outreach of love and support from the community.
