Join us for a St. Patrick's Day drive though event in the Stoughton YMCA parking lot! What is the St. Patrick's Day Event? To promote a safe and fun environment for the community, we will be hosting a St. Patrick's Day Parade alternative. Similar to last year's Halloween Trunk or Treat, spectators will remain in their vehicles and drive through to view our fun St. Patrick's Day themed displays and performances. Our volunteers will be dressed up and decorate their trunks in a line-up of vehicles parked in the parking lot with some goodies or activities for the children to fill their "pots of gold". How will it work this year? Per DPH and State guidelines we are able to run this socially distanced event as the spectators will remain in their vehicles and drive through the trunk displays to receive their treats from our volunteers. Volunteers will be required to wear masks and gloves at all times when handling the treats. Want to enter your trunk? We are looking for volunteers to decorate their trunk (not required) and pas out goodies! Pick a theme or create your own and bring LOTS of fun St. Patrick's Day themed goodies for the kids in our community. Cars will start lining up at 4pm to be ready for the event to start at 5pm. In order to safely and efficiently manage the event, we have four blocks of visiting times organized by last name. The event is very popular and we want to be sensitive to potential traffic build up on Central Street and make your experience even better. Time Blocks: A-F 5:00 PM - 5:30 PM G-L 5:30 PM - 6:00 PM M-R 6:00 PM - 6:30 PM S-Z 6:30 PM - 7:00 PM We understand that extenuating circumstances may arise, so please email if you're definitely unable to attend the time block assigned to you and we can manage.
