SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police and unedited by Patch, all of last week's arrests: On Jan. 18 at 10:54 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the area of Huber Street on a report of a motor vehicle that had struck several parked vehicles. During the investigation, the police arrested a 70-year-old male, Louis Archetti of Secaucus, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Archetti was issued his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with three additional motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult. On Jan. 20 at 6:32 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Extended Stay Hotel located at 1 Plaza Drive on a report of a verbal dispute. During the investigation, the police arrested a 33-year-old female, Amy Rodriguez of Royal Palm Beach, FL for one outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of Volusia County, Florida Sheriff's Office with no bail. Ms. Rodriguez was further charged with Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] for providing false information to law enforcement and Being a Fugitive from Justice [2A:160-10]. Ms. Rodriguez was served her complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail. On Jan. 20 at 5:01 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 24-year-old male, Dakwon Lyons of Jersey City, NJ for one outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $175 and one outstanding warrant issued out of Irvington, NJ in the amount of $125.00. Mr. Lyons was further charged with Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)]. Mr. Lyons was able to post bail for both warrants, was issued his complaint summons along with 3 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody. On Jan. 11, Secaucus Police responded to Swatch Group located at 55 Metro Way on a report of a theft. Following an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Detective Division, on Jan. 21 at 3:18 p.m., the police responded to the Dunkin' Donuts located at 220 County Avenue and arrested a 70-year-old male, Govind Patel of Green Brook, NJ for Theft of Property Lost/Mislaid [2C:20-6]. Mr. Patel was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody. On Jan. 22 at 12:11 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 20-year-old male, Luis Ledesma of Passaic, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)] and Possession of CDS believed to be Suboxone [2C:35-10A(1)]. The police also arrested a 21-year-old male, Kevin Morel of Roswell, GA for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)]. Mr. Morel was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody. Mr. Ledesma was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail. On Jan. 23 at 12:16 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 34-year-old male, Gabino Ramirez Rios of North Bergen, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Ramirez was served his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional seven motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult. On Jan. 23 at 11:08 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 56-year-old male, Sergio Aguilar of Jersey City, NJ for Receiving Stolen Property [2C:20- 7A] for being in possession of a motor vehicle reported stolen out of North Bergen, NJ and Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] for providing false information to law enforcement. Mr. Aguilar was served his complaint warrant along with 11 motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail. On Jan. 24 at 5:50 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 21-year-old male, Ahmed Lekhssassi of Jersey City, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Mr. Lekhssassi was served his complaint summons along with six motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody. These charges are merely accusations and the defendants is presumed innocent until provenguilty.
