TINLEY PARK, IL — The Tinley Park Public Library will close on Tuesday due to the snow storm predicted to spread heavy snow across much of northern Illinois.
"Due to inclement weather conditions predicted for tomorrow and for the safety of our patrons and staff, we are closing the library on Tuesday, January 26," the library said online.
Visitors can expect to head back to the library for all their media needs come Wednesday. The library will reopen from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

According to the American Heart Association, before you pick up that shovel, you should:
Avoid eating a heavy meal.Avoid alcohol.Use a small shovel, as lifting heavy snow can increase blood pressure.Learn the dangers of hypothermia and dress in layers.Know the signs of a heart attack: Chest discomfort, pain in the arm, neck or jaw; cold sweat; nausea; and shortness of breath.
