Other than having a few laughs, our goal for this class is to show you how to turn a single board into a leaning picture shelf. Friday, January 29th from 6-8pm Other than having a few laughs, our goal for this class is to show you how to turn a single board into a leaning picture shelf. All of the wood materials will be pre-sawn and provided for you. At the end of the two hours you will have a solid wood leaning picture shelf ready to hang up. More importantly, you will be empowered with the knowledge and confidence to tackle your next project on your own! We will also discuss the top 10 things you should have in your tool box. Techniques to be explained will include ripping boards (cutting from end to end) and using a chop saw to cut to length. A few skills you will practice will include pre-drilling holes, using countersink bits, attaching wood using screws, proper use of clamps, sanding, and finishing. All the materials you need for the class will be provided. *Class is on a first come, first serve basis. To reserve a seat, please purchase a ticket.
