Clearwater To Host Annual Sustainability Conference In February

CLEARWATER, FL — In partnership with the Clearwater Neighborhoods Coalition and the Suncoast Sierra Club, the city of Clearwater will host its second annual sustainability conference, which will take place as a virtual series every Tuesday in February at 7 p.m. This year's conference will focus on gardening. From sustainable home landscaping to growing vegetables on a patio, the series will feature advice from local gardening experts to help beginner gardeners grow. Sessions include: Feb. 2: Here We Grow (eco-friendly gardening)Feb. 9: What Nobody Ever Told You About the Birds & the Bees (pollinators)Feb. 16: Where Does Your Garden Grow? (growing food)Feb. 23: An Introduction to Florida-Friendly Landscaping Registration is required; the program will be held virtually through Zoom.
