WALLINGFORD, CT — A smoothie and juice bar specializing in healthy shakes, protein coffees and more, recently opened in Wallingford. The Meriden Record-Journal reports the owner of Bliss Nutrition in Meriden, Erica Santore, has expanded her business with last week's opening of Wallingford Nutrition Spot at 314 Main St. in the Yalesville section of town. Santore told the Record-Journal the concept at Wallingford Nutrition Spot is the same as the Meriden location where everything is plant based. Wallingford Nutrition Spot offers "Healthy smoothies, shakes, meal replacements, energizing teas, protein coffees, hot oat bowls, smoothie bowls and more!!" according to its Facebook page.
