Description
LISLE, IL — A crash on I-88 left two people critically injured after they were trapped inside a car Tuesday morning.
According to Lisle-Woodridge Fire District, the crash took place just before 11 a.m. near the exit for Route 53. The two injured people were extricated from the car by Lisle-Woodridge fire crews and taken to a nearby hospital.
The crash also involved a tractor-trailer, the driver of which refused medical attention at the scene.
Lisle-Woodridge firefighters were assisted at the scene by members of the Downers Grove Fire Department and Illinois State Police.
