MERIDEN, CT - A Meriden resident is $10,000 richer after purchasing a winning lottery ticket in Wallingford earlier this week, according to the Connecticut Lottery. On January 25, James Canning, of Meriden, purchased a 30x Cash 6th Edition ticket from the Shell Food Mart in Wallingford and won $10,000.
