HARTFORD/TOLLAND COUNTIES, CT — A Patch survey asking readers in Hartford and Tolland counties to name their favorite pie wound up being a tie ... and the winners were a pair of traditional favorites — blueberry and apple. The question was proposed to area Patch readers in honor of National Pie Day, which was Saturday. A dozen different pies were named.
