Indie rock band seeking Bassist

Hi, my name is Hunter. I play lead guitar in a band with a frontman Ian and drummer Frank. We started writing original songs back in early November of 2020 with hopes to soon record an album and gig around Wilmington and nearby towns. We have been rehearsing regularly downtown at our practice space and writing material very quickly but we are at a point where we really need a driven bass player. We are looking for players who are: creative, dedicated, receptive to criticism, talented, tasteful, unpretentious We have a very unique sound brewing but share many of the same influences. Some things that we like, which can be observed in our tunes: Cymbals Eat Guitar, Modest Mouse The Clientele, The Pastels, Built to Spill, Velvet Underground, Television, Neil Young, The Smiths, Richard Hell & The Voidoids, much of the 80s NY Underground scene You don't have to be a music theory buff but we do expect some degree of expertise and proficiency in your playing. Please have your own rig. Please be prepared to dedicate a day or two each week (typically weekends) to rehearse for a few hours. We aren't stiffs but people with personality problems or substance abuse issues need not respond.
