ELMHURST, IL — Two Elmhurst residents are among the latest arrests by the Elmhurst Police Department. Here is information from the latest police reports: Fleeing from officer Angelo T. Burnett, 20, of Elmhurst, was cited shortly before midnight Tuesday at Michigan and North on charges of obstructing a police officer, disobeying a traffic control signal, improper lighting and improper window tinting. He was released on bond. According to a police report, an officer stopped Burnett for having one headlight and tinted windows. When the officer detected an odor of burnt marijuana and saw marijuana "roaches" in plain view in the ashtray. Burnett then drove away, committing several traffic violations. He was later stopped. DUI Azara Pillatsch, 42, of Elmhurst, was arrested at 11 p.m. in the 100 block of West North on charges of DUI and driving with a revoked license. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail. Vanessa M. Castillo, 25, of Lombard, was arrested about 2:30 a.m. Wednesday at Roosevelt and York on charges of DUI and operating a vehicle in an unsafe condition. She was released on bond. Driving violations Daniel Andrade, 24, of Bensenville, was arrested about 8 a.m. Monday at York and North End on charges of unlawful possession of a controlled substance (two counts) and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.Shajuan M. Reynolds, 23, of Chicago, was cited about 9 a.m. Monday at Roosevelt and Route 83 on charges of driving with a suspended license and tinted windows. She was released on bond. Richard Washington, 36, of Chicago, was cited about 8 p.m. Monday at Lake and Route 83 on charges of transportation of open alcohol, possession of marijuana by a driver, improper display of registration, driving with a revoked license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. He was released on bond.Gabriel Carrillo, 26, of Villa Park, was arrested shortly before 11 p.m. Monday at May and Poplar on a Lombard Police Department warrant and on a charge of tinted windows. He was released to the Lombard Police Department.Ebony N. Webb, 30, of Bellwood, was cited about 8 p.m. Wednesday at North and Melrose on charges of driving with a suspended license and driving with one headlight. She was released on bond. Latrell A. Morrow, 19, of Chicago, was cited shortly after 11 p.m. Wednesday in the 700 block of North Kenilworth on a charge of possession of marijuana by a driver. He was released on bond. Cory A. Warnicke, 23, of Glendale Heights, was cited about 1:30 a.m. Thursday at Route 83 and St. Charles on charges of possession of marijuana by a driver and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. In the same stop, Glenn A. Warnicke, 47, was cited on a charge of possession of marijuana by a driver. They were released on bond. Jose A. Martinez Escoto, 37, of Franklin Park, was cited about 1:30 a.m. Thursday at North and Melrose on charges of driving with a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and improper turn. He was released on bond. Kenny L. Glover, 27, of Maywood, was cited shortly before 2 a.m. Thursday at North and Clinton on charges of driving with a suspended license, possession of marijuana by a driver and tinted windows. In the same stop, Kenji Glover, 26, of Maywood, was cited on a charge of possession of marijuana by a passenger, and Javante M. Murray, 25, of Bolingbrook, was arrested on two warrants. They were released on bond. Demetrius L. Johnson, 33, of Henderson, N.C., was cited about 3 a.m. Wednesday at Lake and Route 83 on charges of possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle and illegal transportation of alcohol. He was released on bond. According to a police report, a search of Johnson's car yielded a bottle of vodka that was half empty. Retail theft A man and women left Jewel-Osco, 944 S. York St., with a basket full of liquor without paying for it. They entered a car and left the area on Butterfield Road. The man was described as Hispanic, 55 years old, 5 feet, 7 inches, 155 pounds, and wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and white shoes. The woman was described as Hispanic, 50 to 55 years old, 5 feet, 7 inches, 135 pounds, and wearing a gray and black jacket, blue jeans and dark boots. A man entered Jewel-Osco, 153 E. Schiller St. about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday and stole two bottles each of tequila and scotch. The man was seen getting into a tan minivan. The suspect was described as white or Indian, 30 to 35 years old, 160 pounds, having brown hair, and wearing a dark hat with tan fur trim, a black jacket, a black sweatshirt and blue jeans. Bullet found A Winchester 9mm Luger bullet was found on the ground in a vacant parking space Tuesday at the Elmhurst public works garage, 985 Riverside Drive. The bullet was placed into evidence for destruction. Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt.
