ELMHURST, IL — In the last few days, Elmhurst police arrested two men on charges of domestic violence. Here is information from the reports:
Michael Ferroni, 54, of Elmhurst, was arrested about 6:30 p.m. Sunday in the 700 block of North Emroy on a charge of domestic battery. A family member told police that an argument turned physical when Ferroni pulled the victim's hair, according to the police report. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail. Robert M. Schwamlein, 32, of Berwyn, was arrested about 7:30 a.m. Thursday in the 500 block of West Grand on two counts of domestic battery. A woman told officers that Schwamlein hit her. She was taken to Elmhurst Hospital for treatment. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail. Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt.
