Description
This is a technical support role which involves: Assisting with capital equipment projects, downstream from receiving purchase orders. You will be integral part of the Operational Team, coordinating with equipment manufacturers and clients to ensure project timelines are established and met, and installations progress seamlessly with exceptional communication, both verbal and written, with all stakeholders and manufacturers. Requirements of the position include: - Provide post-sale technical and project support towards satisfactory delivery and installation of equipment and services. - Understand customer/user requirements and make suitable recommendations in terms of installation and technical support - On site data survey and analysis of equipment components, including dimensioning and 3D modeling as required - Support equipment factory acceptance tests, as required - Execution of equipment installation, commissioning and operator training. - Equipment troubleshooting and repair, diagnosing errors or technical obstacles and determining the optimal solution via direct or indirect discussions/site visits - Escalate client service and troubleshooting needs to the appropriate vendor as needed, utilizing their appropriate service platform. - Document service and installation actions by completing documentation in a timely and accurate manner - Coordinate incoming technical calls to ensure equipment support and troubleshooting, supplying appropriate documentation and client follow up - Develop positive relationships with customers, and present a professional image while working on client sites, instilling confidence and professionalism - Preparing and submitting post-sale customer service and maintenance proposals - Ability to work under limited supervision where a certain degree of self-motivation, drive towards team success, and creativity will be essential - Track record of achieving success in a service support role, would be beneficial -Follow company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes Key attributes & skillsThe candidate should possess the following qualities and skills:- Independence and an enthusiastic, self-starter mentality- An outgoing and engaging personality- Strong attention to detail- Interest in working with a small but quickly growing team- Strong oral and written communication skills- Excellent organizational, problem-solving and reporting skills- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively- The ability to converse with clients at an intermediate technical level- Basic understanding of or ability to learn about mechanical / electrical assemblies- Business travel is expected at a level of around 20%, typically during the week Experience - 1 – 3 years (min.) experience- Be an ethical individual, and go above and beyond to retain customers loyaltyWe offer: - Comprehensive and detailed product training will be provided - Full-time experienced role, based in Doylestown, PA - Competitive salary commensurate with experience - Benefits package (medical/vision/dental) - The opportunity to work with a motivated, growing team If Interested please email resume to [email protected] https://www.steqamerica.com/
