Description
I have a very odd request for anyone in the Hope Mills or Fayetteville area - please notify me if you find a dead animal, or the remains of one! I am a hobbyist taxidermist/"vulture," and I take pride in finding these animals and taking good care of what's left of them. I always clean them up well and display their bones/pelts in my own room, so that not just anyone walks into my home and is presented with the sight of this strange hobby of mine, haha. I don't mind if it's something as small as a mouse or as large as a deer. The only thing that I ask is that it isn't a bird (most are protected by the MBTA and I'd prefer if you called the USDA instead at
) or it isn't very obviously a pet of ANY kind, as there's a very good chance someone is looking for their beloved companion and will want them much more than I will.
Please note that I am NOT making a profit from this! I do this purely for my own pleasure. It's similar to any other hobby, minus the... well, strangeness. If you don't believe me, I'm more than happy to show you the results, and to keep in touch for as long as you'd like so you can be sure!
If you happen to find a dead animal/the remains of one, whether it's a carcass by the road or a mouse skeleton in your basement, and you'd like to aid me in my hobby, please don't hesitate to contact me! You can either send me an email or text me, but I'm much more likely to respond to texts (I don't respond to calls due to scammers). I will be very grateful as it's hard to patrol the area for these things without seeming awfully strange!
