Ashiko Drum Build Workshop Join us for a collaborative workshop to build and walk home with your own hand-crafted Ashiko drum. Played by hand and tuned by ropes, the Ashiko drum is traditionally found in West Africa and has grown in popularity in the US through folk music and drum circles. A six hour workshop includes guided construction, a cultural talk, and a celebratory drum circle. Time: February 27th 10am - 5pm with lunch break Tickets: $215. All materials included.
