Join other mezcal enthusiasts and agave spirit expert Lou Bank for a dose of Liquid Mexico to help you get through the rest of winter! Beginning with the first Thursday in February, 2/4, attendees will meet via Zoom and discuss different agave spirits with Lou, each session focusing on a different aspect of the world of agave spirits. The story of agave spirits will be explored each Thursday during February through the five carefully selected spirits, each one a generous 50mL pour.
Week 1 Spirits will focus on Oaxacan Espadín Mezcal spirits, including: Amaras Espadín, Mezcal Tosba Espadín, Siete Misterios Doba-Yej, Lalocura Espadín, Macurichos Mezcal Espadín Destilado con Cacao
Lou Bank is one of the hosts of the Agave Road Trip podcast and founder of SACRED, a USA-based, 501c3 not-for-profit that uses traditional and artisanal agave spirits from rural Mexico to help improve the quality of life in the communities where those spirits are made.
