Native plants are not only beautiful, but they serve a crucial role in the health of our land and water. The Lilly Center is hosting native plant expert Michael Van Laeken of Heartland Restoration to share his knowledge of native plants and how to integrate them into your landscape! We will be discussing the benefits of native plants over other cultivated options, as well as how to best care for them in your landscaping. Participants will also get to start some seeds from a select number of natives to take home! Heartland Restoration is a well respected source for restoration projects at both the commercial and residential level. Learn more about them here.
