Tax Credit Certification​ Course on determining eligibility, from processing applications, income, assets, leasing, and student status Conquer Low Income Housing Tax Credit Compliance Created by Amanda Lee Gross, the “Conquering Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Compliance” is a two-day, 16-hour course specially designed to assist affordable housing professionals in conquering LIHTC project compliance. Amanda Lee delves deep into the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit laws and regulations, while also providing real-world examples with practical application. This engaging and interactive session utilizes numerous examples and exercises to ensure attendees complete the session with a thorough comprehension of how to maintain project compliance and why it is so important to do so. Earn a Housing Credit Compliance Professional (HCCP) Designation An optional Housing Certified Compliance Professional (HCCP) Exam is offered on the third day of this course. The HCCP exam is offered separately from the training and is open to anyone who would like to take the HCCP exam. One does not have to take the course in order to take the exam. The HCCP is a specialized designation through the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) for developers, property managers, asset managers and other professionals working with the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program. Requirements for achieving the HCCP Designation Minimum of two years' experience in the LIHTC industry by graduation (Those who fail to meet this requirement may consider themselves an HCCP-Candidate until reaching two years of experience.)
