Police Called To Lowe's Twice In Week In Prince George's: Report

BOWIE, MD — The Bowie Police Department said it took three reports of shoplifting in one week. Two came from the Lowes located at 16301 Heritage Boulevard, an incident report added. The first Lowe's call came on Jan. 6. The second followed three days later. The only other shoplifting theft occurred on Jan. 8 at the CVS situated at 6001 High Bridge Road, police wrote. Officers also said they made a DUI arrest on Jan. 9. The traffic stop happened at the corner of Laurel Bowie Road and Annapolis Road, a write-up noted. Police also indicated that there were two thefts from cars. One happened on Jan. 10 on English Oaks Avenue, and the other struck on Jan. 13 on Governors Bridge Road, the report clarified. One person also went missing from Chalford Lane on Jan. 9, officers advised, but they have since returned home.
