I purchased a gerbil this month from the pet store for my roommate to cheer her up but it doesn’t seem to be something she can care for right now :( It is female, under a year old. I have a 10 gal tank with mesh top, water drip (and holder), a wheel, a food bowl, food, half a bag of bedding, and even a lil litter box (LOL!) Obviously I put some money into her to make sure she has what she needs. I think she would make a great first pet for a kid. I’m asking a rehoming fee of $90 for her and all of her things.
