Trauma Recovery Yoga w/ Patrick, Thur, Feb 18, 6-7PM
Trauma Recovery Yoga is a guided yoga practice in a safe environment. Not only guided through physical movements but also mental guidance. Trauma affects the mind and body in negative ways, often hindering a person’s healthy relationships and personal growth.
Some symptoms you may find in your day to day are: you may recognize the feeling of being triggered or your anger level going from 0 to 100 in an instant; you may find yourself in states of panic or freeze.
If this sounds like you then T.R.Y. is a perfect fit for you and your wellness journey!
Through T.R.Y. I will give you tools that you can use in your day-to-day world that will help when you find yourself in one of these states of mind. Everything in this class is voluntary. Participate in whatever you want and feel free to skip anything. There will be no music in this class, it is meant to be a bit of a workout, but it’s up to you how much you do. We will not be going upside down or balancing on one leg. I will not be walking around the room giving adjustments. You get to choose what is for you and what is not. I look forward to seeing you soon.

*Patrick Alan Murad is trained in a wide variety of yoga styles, including Power Vinyasa and Acrobatic Yoga. He specializes in, and has a special passion for Trauma Recovery Yoga. Patrick has completed the 200 hour certification in Holistic Yoga Flow as well as a 20 hour certification in Trauma Recovery Yoga.
