Press release from the City of Portsmouth: January 22, 2021 The City has taken several steps to reduce the risk of COVID-19 exposure at City Hall. Starting Monday, January 25, the City is requesting residents with City Hall business to please make appointments in advance. "Following state guidelines for reducing the risk of exposure to COVID-19, we encourage you to use payment options that do not require you to enter City Hall," said City Manager Karen Conard. "It's safer for you and for our staff. We will re-evaluate this restricted access as community transmission rates decline and stabilize."
