PALM DESERT, CA — It took firefighters about a half-hour Saturday to put out flames in the attic of a Palm Desert house.
The fire was reported at 4:48 p.m. in the 40500 block of Emerald Cove, according to Riverside County Fire Department officials.
Firefighters put out the flames at 5:22 p.m. and expected to remain at the home for up to two hours to make sure all embers were out, officials said.
The cause was not immediately determined and no injuries were reported.
