Join us for an Author Talk with Birdel Jackson. Join Birdel F. Jackson, III for a author talk and discussion on his book Our Journey Across the Centuries. Mr. Jackson, a native of Memphis, TN., is a member of the Kings and Queens of Alpharetta American Bridge Association, sponsor of the Roswell Roots Annual Bid Whist Party. Birdel will discuss his 200 year family history from slavery to the 20th century as told in his book, "Our Journey Across the Centuries", followed by a book signing. Birdel is a retired civil engineer, living in Alpharetta, is a member of the Academy of Distinguished Engineering Graduates of the University of Toledo and the Georgia Institute of Technology. Please plan to arrive no earlier than 20 minutes prior the program start time in order to have your temperature taken at the front door. Patrons registering a temperature of 100.4 or above will not be allowed to enter. • Seating. To ensure social distancing guidelines, please do not move or tamper with seating placement. Finally, as a reminder, patrons may not enter any City Facility if they have been diagnosed with COVID-19, exhibited symptoms of COVID-19, had contact with a person that has or is suspected to have COVID-19, within the past fourteen (14) days. If you are feeling unwell or are awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test, please stay home.
