WASHINGTON, D.C. — President Joe Biden is replacing Dr. Sean Conley, a Navy commander, as White House physician, the Associated Press reported Monday. Dr. Kevin O'Connor, a retired Army colonel who served as Biden's doctor while he was vice president and has remained in that role, will replace Conley, who was named acting White House physician in March 2018. As head of the White House Medical Unit, Conley was tasked with overseeing President Donald Trump while he was hospitalized with COVID-19 in early October. The Doylestown native graduated from Central Bucks High School East in 1998 and went on to obtain his professional doctoral degree and become a Navy commander before being called to serve in the White House. Conley will assume a teaching role at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, the AP reported.
