Hum & Strum is a new course that focusses on getting you to do the following with ukulele: 1. become aware of your voice 2. tune your voice to the ukulele 3. sing in tune 4. sing and play in sync When you learn to play the ukulele, usually there is no attention paid to your voice. A professional voice teacher will coach you on a one-on-one basis in a breakout room in Zoom while the rest of the class goes through rhythm and strum exercises and application to a song. You will take turns with the voice teacher. The class starts on Tuesday 1/26/2021 at 11:30 am ET, running for 7 consecutive weeks until 3/9/2021. The tuition includes a PDF handout with links to class video recordings after each session by e-mail. Weekly exercises will be customized to the needs of the participants.
