Description
ARLINGTON, MA — The Arlington Health Department will hold a vaccination clinic for home-based and non-COVID-facing healthcare workers in Phase 1 next Wednesday, Jan. 27.
The town has also created a form for Arlington residents to provide their information and be alerted if, and when, a vaccination clinic is available for their priority group. Information may be submitted here.
Health officials say submission of information does not guarantee placement, nor does it bind residents to getting vaccinated by the Health Department.
Health Director Christine Bongiorno said Thursday the town's positivity rate has stabilized. The latest DPH figures show Arlington's positivity rate dropped from 3.47 percent last week to 2.87 percent this week, and the town was labeled a moderate-risk community in Thursday's Public Health Report.
Health officials continue to urge residents to follow all COVID-19 safety protocols and avoid non-household gatherings, as it will be months before everyone will have a chance to be vaccinated.
