Press release from the City of Santa Cruz: January 20, 2021 SANTA CRUZ POLICE DEPARTMENT 155 Center Street, Santa Cruz, CA 95060 MEDIA RELEASE DATE/TIME: January 19, 2021 TOPIC: Indecent Exposure Investigation LOCATION: 300 Block of Soquel Ave. CASE NUMBER: 21S-00313 / 21S-00318 SUSPECT: Unknown – see attached images INFORMATION On January 14, 2021, at approximately 8:30 p.m. the subject depicted in these images approached the victim in an underground parking garage in the 300 block of Soquel Ave. and solicited the victim to engage in sexual activity. During the incident the subject removed his pants and exposed his genitals to the victim. On the same date approximately hour and half later it is believed the same subject knocked a nearby residence door and solicited the same to another victim. The subject seen with his pants undone, but did not expose himself to the victim in this instance. The subject is described as Hispanic male adult, 5'10", slim, 180 pounds, shaved head, wearing a white T- shirt and black shoes. The subject was said to have a heavy Spanish accent. The Santa Cruz Police Department is looking to the community for help in identifying the male subject.
