Description

Due to COVID and job loss, we're having to downgrade the size of our living space considerably to a studio apartment, and we have two male rabbits about two months apart in age that are not bonded that we have separated (this is a listing for both rabbits, but for separate homes). They are free roam currently with their own rooms - if you have *any* intention to cage them, please do not respond to this. Large x-pens are fine (big enough for them to zoom with no issue). This was an incredibly emotional decision for us, so if you have no knowledge or experience with rabbits, please do as much research as you can. They are currently both being fed daily with a set amount of pellets, unlimited hay in their litter box (they are fully litter trained and neutered) and a daily salad with multiple types of veggies. They especially love parsley, romaine lettuce, and carrots. They also drink water from their ceramic bowls which we can provide upon rehoming. The first rabbit is named Hopper (small lionhead), and the other is Steve Hareington (medium sized cinammon). They are both very well socialized and affectionate. Neither of them are fond of being picked up, though, especially Steve, but they will gladly let you pet them as much as you'd like and will often seek out ear rubs from you. Both of them are familiar with the scent of dogs, so they can handle being in the same home as them, but they have not interacted with dogs directly and it surely would cause a lot of stress being in sightlines of any pups, or any predator species for that matter. Please have a dedicated, isolated place in your home so rabbits can have a familiar and consistent environment. We are asking $60 for rehoming for the rabbit you think would be a good fit for you, either of them are available at this time. This is not a matter of money, but a matter of making sure they don't end up as snake food or as an impulse adoption. I can transport the rabbit to you if needed. If you do decide to adopt, please be prepared that I will ask to see photos of the space you will be providing him. I would also enjoy updates on his health and how he's getting on, but that is up to you. Please text or email me with any questions you may have or if you'd like more photos.
