LIBERTYVILLE, IL — Residents are invited to hit the streets this Friday and Saturday to take a gander at hot sales amid the cold weather. This Friday and Saturday — from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. — 11 Libertyville stores will offer sales during MainStreet Libertyville's first Winter Sidewalk Sale of the year. Because of the cold weather, the sales themselves will be held inside participating stores. Still, attendees are encouraged to bundle up and take in the downtown area on foot, said MainStreet Libertyville. They are also encouraged to order food from a downtown restaurant while out and about.
