Looking for musicians

OK I have had 1 covid shot and expecting another soon. I am getting very antsy to get back out and play again. I have a new idea for a band or maybe a trio or duo. I want to play music by Texas musicians and song writers. I want to cover the older stuff from Bob Wills to maybe Robert Earl Keen with some rockers and R&B thrown in. I can do this easily but I am looking for others who can take it from there and get to now. Guys Like maybe Cory Morrow, Pat Green, Roger Creager, Lucas Nelson. Probably a bunch I don’t even know much about. I also write and maybe you do also. I Sing front and harmony and play lead and rhythm and bass. I have been playing a long time and do hundreds of songs. Maybe you sing and play guitar, bass, keys, fiddle whatever but I need another vocalist/instrumentalist, male or female who already does these newer artists. There are so many songs and artists to pick from It shouldn’t be a problem to entertain a crowd and never play anyone else. There are blues men, rockers like Buddy Holly, Roy Orbison, weird guys like Ray Willey Hubbard. Newer guys like Leon Bridges, Bob Schneider, Shakey Graves. Everything from country to R&B. We could call it the Texians or something. Give me a shout if this sounds interesting. I live in Galveston. We could work up stuff now just keeping our distance and be ready when things open up.
