Description
I have a 1.5 yr old chinchilla that is looking for her forever home. She has a bad habit of coat chewing and would likely do better housed on her own although she currently lives with my other chinchilla. She is Homozygous (extra dark) ebony in color and is possibly bred to a black pearl (black w/ white belly) male.
I am looking to find her a forever home with someone experienced in chinchillas and willing to give her a home for potentially the next 20 years. She will come with a bit of food but I do not have a cage or accessories as im using them for my other female chinchilla. $200 rehoming fee.
I am rehoming because I feel she is uncomfortable in my house and her coat chewing has gotten worse since she came to live with me. She has not only chewed her own coat quite sparse in the rear but most of her friends as well.. Coat chewing is often related to stress but can also be a genetic issue. Neither of her parents chewed their coats. I do not know if she is bred or not however she was unfortunately exposed to a male so I want to note that potential and place accordingly.
Pick up in Frankfort, KY.
